Representatives of cg-research.com, a division of Cadence Group, participated as a Sponsor for the SMEI Atlanta (Sales and Marketing Executives) lunch ‘n learn program, “Recognizing the Four Basic Personality Types in Any Sales Situation,” presented by Jeff Hayzlett, Executive Vice President, Business Development, Cenveo.

At the beginning of the event, Chad Damerell, Cadence Group’s Chief Marketing Officer, introduced cg-research.com and described how this online research service can help sales and marketing professionals obtain valuable information about their prospects’ industries, regulatory issues, company background and executive profiles. As a result, professionals will be better prepared for sales activities.

The speaker, Jeff Hayzlett, provided a very interesting session about how sales and marketing professionals can identify their own personality type as well as their prospect’s type, then choose the sales approach that best fits each prospect. During Hayzlett’s presentation he mentioned the importance of having valuable information before the sales call to know as much as possible about the prospect so you can build a fast and credible relationship from the beginning.

Representatives of cg-research.com conducted a brief survey of research needs, gave each attendee a “2 for 1 Special Offer” valid until March 31 and awarded four hours of free research to one of the attendees.
